Rene Langen was a Senior Partner with McKinsey and Company. He served clients globally on a broad range of strategic and commercial topics, predominantly in Telecommunications & Technology but also other sectors.

Rene was a co-leader of McKinsey’s Telco as well as Marketing & Sales Practices in EMEA. Afterwards he joined OPAP as Chief Development Officer and executive board member.

​

He was responsible for managing OPAP’s technology transformation as well as setting up new, complementing businesses like Tora Wallet, an e-money institution, where he held the CEO position when setting up the company and was then the vice chairman of the Board of Directors.

Rene is now a Partner in a Boutique Advisory Firm for Advanced Analytics. He has broad experience in advising companies on how to leverage and adjust their core business to generate new revenue opportunities.

 

Rene holds a Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
