Peter Williamson

Peter is a Professor and the Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge, and is a Chairman of the Cambridge-China Centre, Jesus College, Cambridge.
He has held professorships at London Business School, Harvard Business School and INSEAD (in Fontainebleau and Singapore). Formerly The Boston Consulting Group, he earned his PhD in Business Economics from Harvard University.
Peter has been visiting China regularly since 1983, assisting Chinese companies to develop their international strategies and organisations and to integrate foreign acquisitions. He has served as non-executive director and chairman of numerous companies including in software and IT.
His books include: The Competitive Advantage of Emerging Market Multinationals; Dragons at Your Door; Winning in Asia; and From Global to Metanational.
He has worked with Huawei and its leadership and is co-author of Ecosystem Edge: Sustaining Competitiveness in the Face of Disruption, published in 2020 by Stanford University Press.
