Nina Teng
Policy Advisor
Nina Teng is an expert in digital platform ecosystem regulations and operations. She was the founding Vice President of Public Affairs at Grab, the largest digital ride-hailing and super-app platform ecosystem in Southeast Asia, where she also led its business expansion and operations as a member of the early founding startup team, from 2013 to 2017.
At Grab, she successfully collaborated with multiple government ministries and agencies to develop inaugural digital platform ecosystem regulations for ride-hailing and digital payment technologies in Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. Her team was awarded the 2016 Industry Gold Standard Award in Public Private Partnership.
Her current research at the London Business School focuses on digital platform ecosystem growth strategies for firms, particularly on how incumbent firms can respond to the rise of disruptive digital platform innovations.
She holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government; and is pursuing doctoral studies at the University of Oxford and London Business School.
