Dalbert holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of York, an LLM in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a Master in Management (MiM) from IESE Business School, where he graduated as Valedictorian.
He serves as a Consultant with Evolution Ltd and is a PhD student in Strategy & Entrepreneurship at London Business School.
Prior to joining Evolution Ltd, he has been involved in public policy and financial technology projects at the London Representative Office of China’s central bank, where he specialized in cryptocurrency and central bank digital currency research. He also served as the central bank’s representative at the 2018 London Ant Financial Technology Conference and has furthered academic research relating to the economics and regulation behind central bank digital currencies.
He has worked on a large-scale project of Evolution Ltd on the design and facilitation of a digital currency-based ecosystem, where he has provided expertise into the regulatory hurdles behind specific currency design choices from the vantage points of e-money, payment services, finance, and tax law, respectively.
